Based in the Indo-Gulf region with offices in Abu Dhabi (UAE) and Pune (India), Procurement Buddy addresses the essential supply chain needs of oil & gas processing (refineries, petrochemicals, etc.), LNG, industrial storage, oil terminals, the nuclear sector, fertilisers, chemicals, cement, power generation and distribution, steel, and the non-ferrous metallurgy sector.

In a competitive market, having a proficient procurement management system is crucial as it enables companies to source essential raw materials, tools, spare parts, consumables, and more at the most competitive prices and within tight project timelines.

Procurement Buddy aims to transform industrial procurement by integrating the efficiency and ease of marketplace platforms, such as Amazon, eBay, Flipkart, Shopee, Alibaba, etc., into industrial supply chains. Our goal is to make buying industrial products – such as valves, pipes, and equipment – as easy as purchasing a mobile phone, while removing the challenges of vendor development, vendor management, order tracking, shipping and expediting.

Buddy Score

The enlistment process for Procurement Buddy is based on a dynamic scoring system called the Buddy Score. Buddies with a proven past track record, strong financial health, better health, safety and environmental standards and deeper penetration in the market will have a higher Buddy Score. Buddy Rating

The Buddy rating is designed to incorporate feedback from buyers who have procured items from the Supplier Buddy. By collecting insights at various stages and milestones of the procurement regarding technical compliance, communication, adherence to price and schedule, workmanship, etc., the system ensures that a Buddy who demonstrates high ethical standards, transparency in communication, and reliability receives a higher Buddy rating. This approach fosters a community of trust and ethics within Buddies.
